The Old World Island Leg is a perfect wooden island leg for an antique or classic-style kitchen. The Old World design reflects the craftsmanship of the Colonial era, focusing on quality and beauty. This 35 1/2" tall and 3 1/2" wide leg is durable enough to become a new family tradition. The design boasts a stunning reeded center with triple banding that gives it a more formal look. There is a useful 10 1/2" top block which can attach to table skirts, drawers and even cabinetry. The turned foot at the base add to the elegance of the piece. Although this is a classic design, it can be customized to fit in with a more modern space. Depending on the wood species selected, you can paint or stain the exterior of the piece any color you wish. It will be sanded to 150 grit to allow for easy finishing.
